Community is about Love:
love for all life, love for beauty, love for perfection.
It is about a way of living that builds and that uses
the creative powers entrusted to us in a focused direction:
in the direction of Beauty,
in the direction of Harmony,
in the direction of Life Abundant.
The Principles that guide the manifestation of Community have existed in the human consciousness since the beginning of Time. They are, in fact, the pristine natural tendencies of our hearts and minds. They are presented here in simple terms so that we all can recall them.
The central foundation of Community is harmony and peace within ourselves and with all beings.
Those who feel a call to manifest Community in their lives already have the flower of harmony and peace unfolding in their hearts.
The creation of Community is a creative process through which we express in the world the truth of our Being. Creating Community is, therefore, to freely share with others what we truly ARE.
The Fundamental Principles upon which Community is created in the many universes of the Cosmos are: Harmony, Abundance, Clarity, Love, Service, Illumination, Cooperation, Charity, Desire, Faith, Stillness and Creativity.
Harmony is a concert, a symphony of energies. It comes from balance and alignment with the Totality that each one of us IS. Harmony is achieved through a combination of inner and outer rhythms of activities in which we feel fulfillment. Once it is achieved, Harmony is sustained with a sane and balanced rhythm of life.
Abundance is an attitude of mind and heart that consciously accepts the limitless choices that the One Infinite Source of All gives to us. Abundance is the result of a conscious combination of harmonious vibrations: it is the result of a conscious combination of harmonious choices. It is cultivated by achieving harmony and peace within ourselves and with all others and is enhanced manifold by coming together in harmony to create something for the Common Good.
Clarity is the right perception of ourselves, others and all that is. We live in Clarity when in all the choices that we make everyday we follow the directions of our inner guidance system (the intuitions of our heart). Awareness of our inner guidance system is the natural result of cultivating harmony and peace in our mental and feeling life.
Love is a dynamic feeling of goodness towards all others and ourselves. It is the natural result of living according to the dictates of our inner guidance system. Love is cultivated by consciously thinking and feeling Harmony, Abundance and Clarity in the daily life and by acting accordingly.
Service is Love in action. It is cultivated in our hearts and minds by allowing others to be all what they want to be as individuals and as groups, by facilitating their fulfillment and by caring for them without judgment and without expecting anything in return.
Illumination is a state of clear and complete knowing — a knowing that is not the product of the analytical faculties of the human mind. It is also called straight knowledge or spiritual intuition. Illumination comes from cultivating an attitude of non-judgment regarding ourselves and all others. Like all the other Foundations of Community, the state of Illumination is a conscious choice — the choice of using always our mind not in the direction of fear or in the direction of judgment or in the direction of aggression but in the direction harmony and peace.
Cooperation is to act honoring the beauty and the freedom of all beings. Cooperation is cultivated by seeing only Divinity in others and in ourselves. It is, therefore, founded upon a non-judge-mental attitude. Cooperation always establishes a harmonious energy environment in which all beings and all things expand towards perfection and in which the Mighty Creative Power that resides in all human beings naturally flourishes.
Charity is to allow the natural, free flow of energy in any situation: it is to allow the manifestation of balance and harmony in any situation. Charity is the rightful complement of Cooperation — always a greater beauty and a greater freedom come forth when several beings share of their individual beauties and freedoms in a common goal that allows the free flow of energy. Charity is cultivated by feeling and sharing the joy of the Bounty that exists everywhere in the Universe. The ultimate act of Charity is to consciously expand ourselves in Oneness with all Creation.
Desire is the inner fire or energy that drives our Essence to manifest in our being and world the beauty, the perfection and the completeness of the One Infinite Source of All. Desire is a Power. Desire is Vitality: it is the force of Life Itself. Desire is not cultivated. Its pristine purity and might are allowed to manifest in our hearts and minds by abiding by the Principles of Community already described. Yet Desire must be focused; otherwise its boundless power is scattered.
Faith is an attitude of mind and heart focused on creating an agreement between the desire of our heart and the Mighty Power that supplies and maintains All the Universe. Our Essence (our Spirit and Self) is a point of convergence, a lens for this Mighty Power. Faith, therefore, unites the focused desire of our heart with the Infinite Fountain of Energy and Substance of which all things in the Universe are made. It is cultivated by consciously acknowledging the Presence of the One Infinite Source of All in us and in our world.
Stillness is the space and moment in Consciousness required for the alignment of the energies that are to bring forth in our lives the manifestation of the desire of our heart. It is the expansion of the I am we think we are into the only I AM that IS (our Source and Self). Stillness is a conscious embrace with the Fountain of the Power and Energy that sustains the entire Universe. Stillness is cultivated, therefore, by realizing and identifying ourselves with the only I AM that IS.
Creativity is to manifest in our midst a perfect, harmonious and balanced sum of energies whose focal point is a desire in our heart. It is the natural result of abiding by all the above Principles of Community. Creativity is, therefore, to be and to express what we truly ARE — the greatest act of creativity is to unfold and perfect what we ARE, and this is only possible when our heart and mind abide in Community.
The Principles of Community are not philosophical ideas, nor are they spiritual truisms. They are powerful forces emanating from the Essence of our being. When consciously used, they can re-create our being and the fabric of Space and impress upon these beauty, perfection and abundance.
In the many places of the Cosmos, the Principles of Community are the only known means for self-conscious beings to be true co-creators with the One Infinite Source of All.
The Principles of Community are rooted in the most basic principle of all: the Principle of Freedom. Because of this, they cannot be imposed upon anyone. Each Principle of Community is to be accepted and lived as we so consciously and freely choose — this is the only way to cultivate the Principles in our mind and heart; in other words, this is the only way to be what we truly ARE.
