An ancient story tells that in us, human beings, there is an ages-old unconscious belief. The belief that if we share too much of what we are and have, we will suffer lack and want. It is said that this unconscious tendency (also many times a conscious tendency) was born of our forgetfulness — we forgot that we are an inexhaustible fountain of Life and Love!
The story also tells that when we will remember this, the whole Universe will sing in joy at “the dawn of the Suns of Love and Life”.
Contrary to outer appearances, in every human being there is always a pristine, natural tendency to relate to others simply for the sake of love and sharing. This natural tendency emanates from our Soul and Essence, and this tendency is nothing more than our essential loving and life-giving nature.
However, for millennia, in our forgetfulness of our Essence, we have convinced each other that, unless we fight our way through life, our most common fate is misery and poverty and that we should share, if at all, only with those closely associated with us along the family lines — our whole civilization has been constructed based on this belief.
It suffices to look around us to see the enormous, disproportionate amount of energies and efforts that we all need to dedicate daily to sustain a way of living in which the dictates of Love are not freely expressed. And it suffices to look around us to realize the sickly, devitalized condition of our communities and societies when most individuals are trying to survive alone without caring for others and without sharing.
When we allow the pristine natural tendency of our Soul and Essence to express in our lives, in other words, when we share our being joyfully, wisely and without expecting anything in return, we automatically create a healing environment of great power.
This healing environment is automatically created by the vibrations of Love and Life that we allow to manifest through us. More precisely, these vibrations create an energy field around us characterized by harmony, beauty and balance.
Spontaneously, others will be attracted to this energy field because Love is the essential characteristic of every human being and we all feel more alive and complete when moving within the waves of Love.
If we continue sharing joyfully, wisely and freely, the healing environment created in this way cannot but expand in strength and radiation until it eventually becomes a true community of sharing and caring; in other words, the healing environment becomes a community that facilitates development and fruition (that is, healing) in its participants.
Sharing our being joyfully, wisely and freely, expecting nothing in return (that is, truly loving) refers to the balanced, harmonious and unimpeded expression of our energy in creative ways that seek to bring forth beauty and perfection in all. They refer to a true community living.
When we share our being, it is not that others are going to live exactly as we live, or to follow us — there is no beauty in imitation, nor is there growth in passivity. No, sharing our being means to facilitate in others their process of self-discovery and, in consequence, their healing, fruition and fulfillment as they see these.
We simply share with others our experiences, knowledge and insights. We simply motivate them to start their own process of self-discovery and the way to bring their potential to fruition — we do this with our commitment to a way of living of joy, with our enthusiasm and determination, with our love for beauty and harmony, and with our sincerity. We simply share with them the resources that the Universal Fountain of All has entrusted to us. In other words, we assist them to be all what they can be, simply, with our example — even with the example of sharing.
The family, the educators and the community of an individual could have a great impact in the health and in the process of development and fulfillment of this person if they would but follow the simple ideas we are considering. More specifically, with no preconceived expectations about the needs and the particular lines of development of this person, they just need to do three things to fulfill their role:
- To create, with their exemplary living, a harmonious and balanced energy environment for the individual.
- To hold lovingly, unwaveringly and constantly in their minds, as a gift to the individual, the thought and the vision of human perfection — not what this particular individual should become, but the vision of human perfection in general.
- To make available to the individual the opportunities that he or she will ask for along the process of self-discovery.
These three simple things can do more in preventing and in healing all the individual and social ills than any other measure because these simple things are founded on the natural Law of our Being.
These three simple things can also erase all lack and want in everyone because they are founded in the Law of Love, which is the key that unlocks the Bounty of the Universe.
